South Bay, Florida - January 2014

While exploring the area from Moore Haven we found a county RV park southeast of Lake Okeechobee and decided to move there for a few days.  It offered full hookups and WiFi along with better access to Lake Okeechobee by our kayaks.

These pictures aren't that great, but provide a view from the Lake Okeechobee Levee that shows a border canal and then what looks like more land than water.  But there are lots of pools in this area while when we got on a levee on the north side of the lake we saw a lot more water.

These were our neighbors about twenty feet behind our site.

This wasn't our site, but shows the little canal around the campground and an alligator nearby.

We went kayaking along the canal and out into one of the pools.
