2008 - June- Canadian Rockies

We crossed the boarder into Canada on June 2nd.

We stayed in the Provincial Campground in Banff, our first stop in the Canadian Rockies driving up the Ice Fields Parkway to catch up with the Alaskan-Canadian (Alcan).

Banff and the surrounding area.

Pat posing on a bench in Banff and a man sleep walking into the scene.

Our first raven.

We woke up to a heard of elk feeding in the campground.

A couple of elk feeding while on a side trip to Lake Louise, and Lake Louise.

There was a turn off and viewing area for the Athabaska River.  It was amazing, our cameras weren't.
